Our members involved in several activities in these couple of weeks.
9/15 Thang served as a co-chair of Medicine-Biotechnology Session in the 11th Vietnam-Japan Scientific Exchange Meeting.
9/20-22 Tsukuba Global Science Week 2018 was held by the University of Tsukuba. Kaori gave an oral presentation and Lalhaba did a poster presentation in the student research presentation session. Kaori received a best presenter award for the presentation. Hiromi also served as a panelist in the session titled “Beyond the border: how we realize the diversity and gender equality in the future?”
9/22-23 Hiromi, Yoshito, Thang, and Shin participated in the 2nd JCS Council Forum on Basic CardioVascular Research. Yoshito gave a talk and Thang and Shin did poster presentations. Shin received a poster award for the presentation.
9/24-26 Hiromi and Aiko gave talks in symposiums in the 91st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Biochemical Society.
10/1 We invited Dr. Hideaki Kano, an associate professor at Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, University of Tsukuba, to a TARA seminar. He gave a talk on molecular fingerprinting of living systems by nonlinear Raman spectroscopy.
